🐇Hi everyone, I’m Valancia! It’s Thursday morning right now. Let me tell you what everyone in my family is up to!

Look, my grandma is washing vegetables in the kitchen. She’s going to make a yummy lunch for all of us— it’s definitely gonna be super delicious! My grandpa is taking a nap on the chair on the balcony. His eyes are squinted into little lines, like he’s already fast asleep.

What about mommy? She’s been busy for days, tidying up the house during summer time. She wants to make our home cozier and brighter. Daddy is sitting right next to her, flipping through the old books. His head is bobbing up and down, like he’s drifted back to the old days.

Me? I’m playing my new jazz drums— boom, chick, boom! I’m swaying to the beat and feeling so happy! Oh, and my big brother, because of the time difference, he’s probably just leaving the lab at UBC Cancer Centre now, getting ready for dinner~
